As an added courtesy, I submit your web site to the 3 major search engines (Google, Yahoo and Bing) to get you started in the right direction. There is no guarantee that you are going to have the top ranking in any search engine. The search engines are constantly changing and updating the way that they determine the relevance of a search term and what site seems to be most important to those searches. What a search engine submission does is allows the search engines to begin indexing your site to add it to its enormous database. Without these submissions you would have to wait until your site is found, which could take a very long time or not happen at all.
Site Maintenance
In a perfect world, once your site was completed you would only have to sit back and let the content do the work. This is not the case however. Many times you will have to update information, change photos, update contact information, change logos, etc. I try to empower you to be able to take care of these issues for yourself, but for many busy business owners and individuals it could be a little more than you care to take on. For those people I offer site maintenance. With a site maintenance package, you get the first 2 hours of work free with a discount to any additional work necessary. You can add this service after your site has been launched, include it in a package with the design and hosting, or add the service to any site.
